What is the point of an ego?

Many spiritual folks demonize the ego as this thing to ‘transcended’. But the ego is one of the most important (and human) parts of the psyche. An expressed ego is necessary to unify your unconscious elements towards creativity and away from self-sabotage.

We continue today through the Hero’s Journey from the Mother Complex and Father Wound to what the formed ego is “supposed to do” once it has formed. We explain how the ego evolved alongside the evolution of life (and arguably all energy and matter). We also talk about why and how amoeba wiggles.
